Poverty may lead to HIV, but HIV may also lead to poverty. PWN-USA takes a three-pronged approach to address economic justice issues by: 1) advocating for policies that give women more options to work and earn a livable wage with a flexibility that matches the realities of their lives, 2) creating economic opportunities for women living with HIV including connecting women to potential paid opportunities and 3) engaging in partnerships that provide tools and skills to achieve economic empowerment.
