Biography: Sonia Rastogi advocates with Positive Women’s Network – USA (PWN-USA). Sonia supports and trains women living with HIV across the country in advocacy skills and media/communications. She also coordinates PWN’s media and communications strategy. She also sits on the board of the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) – North America chapter. In this capacity she represents the voices of people living with HIV on the 2012 International AIDS Conference Regional Working Group for North America. Previously, Sonia worked in HIV prevention coordinating an HIV testing program and serving as a linkage counselor to Asians and Pacific Islanders in San Francisco, CA. As a young woman living with HIV, Sonia is committed and passionate about ensuring that the rights of all women and girls living with HIV are consciously upheld.
