St. Croix, USVI: December 1 (Time TBA): Silent March from Post Office down to the Caribbean Museum of the Arts for a Ceremony. A bell will be rung 100 times as we walk to represent the people that we have lost throughout the years in the Virgin Islands.
Once at the Museum the ceremony will begin with:
- The Unity Prayer
- An Interfaith Declaration – (Read by PWNer Sherri Henigan)
- Proclamation Read from the Governor of the Virgin Islands
- Art Contest by Local schools – winner will be announced and an Award will be given.
- Poetry, Open Mike
- At the end we will walk across the street to the Pier and throw rose petals into the sea in honor of and memory of those that we have lost, those that are living w/HIV/AIDS and those that are affected by HIV/AIDS.
