PWN South Carolina (PWN SC) is honored to be part of PWN as an official affiliated organization. We mean business and we know that nothing about us without us is for us. PWN will give us the support, tools, and mentorship to make advocacy for women in the state of South Carolina a reality.

Lizzy Bellamy, Co-Chair
Lizzie Vernette Bellamy-Richardson was raised and currently resides in the Longs, South Carolina community. Married at 18, Lizzie became HIV-positive in 1997. At 39 and undetectable, she started to advocate by speaking boldly and voicing the concerns and distribute information about HIV/AIDS.
She attended her first Positive Women’s Network-USA summit: 10 Years Fierce Celebration in April 2018. In October 2018 she was inducted into the 20/20 Leading Women’s Society of SisterLove Inc. She is a member of SC DreamTeam Coalition. Having attended NMAC’s Building Leaders of Color (BLOC) Program in January 2019, she continues to advocate in her community and on a local level with hopes of starting and food bank for People Living with HIV. She continues to seek opportunities to speak about stigma and HIV.
