World AIDS Day will be observed on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Orangeburg Town Square with a candlelight vigil to begin at 6pm with a program “Living Beyond Your Status” to follow at Victory Tabernacle. This event, sponsored by A Family Affair, in collaboration with Victory Tabernacle, Minority AIDS Council (MAC), Positive Women’s Network(PWN) SC Regional Chapter, SC Dream Team Coalition and Brooks Health Center of South Carolina State University, all of which will be helping with resources, is an internationally observed day of awareness and remembrance.

There will be a featured speaker. Lizzy Bellamy has been an HIV/AIDS advocate for South Carolina. She currently serves as a member of PWN-USA SC Regional Chapter and was recently inducted into the 20/20 Leading Women Society of SisterLove, Inc.. and is a member of SC Dream Team Coalition.
A Family Affair (AFA) HIV AIDS Ministry of Victory Tabernacle Deliverance Temple is designed to meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of persons living with HIV or affected by the chronic illness of HIV/AIDS by any and all means necessary. AFA is ran by persons living with HIV as we realize we cannot wait for others to do for us what we must do for ourselves. Our motto: “Let’s pray about it and be about it: Faith without works is dead.”
